Please list your best and proudest 2012 orienteering achievements.
2012 North American Orienteering Championships Silver medal

Please list your best and proudest orienteering achievements to date.
I would say the same one.

What is your first orienteering memory?
Racing in Southern Ukraine in the late 90s.

What is your favourite orienteering story or experience?
I was running M12 at a large competition in Moldova. The end of the course involved crossing a few creeks. While climbing out of one of them, I had lost my shoe. None the less, I finished the race without it, and had won.

Is there a particular map/area where you could never get sick of orienteering?
March Highlands in Ottawa. Although, a lot of Scandinavian maps would be just as interesting.

If you could fly anywhere in the world to orienteer, where would you go, and why?
Probably Finland or Sweden.

Do you have any other achievements from 2012 that you’d like to share
Finally doing the right things to go to Europe for a few months. I consider it a big achievement for me, because I’ve been wanting to do that for a while.

If you could get orienteering coaching from anyone in the world (dead or alive) who would it be, and why?
I think I have the best coach possible – my father, Andrei Logvin. I would love to get Technique and Mental coaching from Thierry Gueorgiou though, as I think he is phenomenal and very inspiring.

What races are on your 2013 calendar?
In 2013 I will be in Europe until at least July, starting with Portugal and Spain in February/early March.

Aside from orienteering, what other sports do you do on a regular basis?
I played on my Highschool soccer and tennis teams. In the past few years though, all my training and racing (trail, adventure running) is for benefit in Orienteering.

What is your favourite pre-race breakfast/snack?

Tell us something that we might not know about you….
My lucky number is 811 ;)
