A big thanks to the Kootenay Orienteering Club for hosting an incredible North American Championships

The North American Orienteering Orienteering Championships wrapped up in Kimberley/Cranbrook on July 4th. The Koontenay Orienteering Club (with some help from the Calgary, Edmonton, Kamloops and Vancouver orienteering clubs) put on 5 events, including three championship events. High praise all around – for the maps, the terrain, the courses, the social events and the very smooth operation of it all. Congratulations to the main event organizer Jim Webster and his team of 50+ volunteers.
