Selection process for 2012 World Cup Ski-Orienteering Events

There are 4 sets of World Cup events in the 2012 ski-orienteering season:

  • Round 1: 27 January – 5 February 2012 / Bear Valley and Lake Tahoe, California, USA
  • Round 2: Feb 20 – 26, 2012 / Sumy, Ukraine
  • Round 3: Feb 19 – Mar 4, 2012 / Shuchinsk, Kazakhstan
  • Round 4: March 21 – 25, 2012 / Boden, Sweden

Any Canadian ski-orienteering athletes who wish to be considered for selection to compete at these World Cup races can find the selection process detailed here. Note the December 5, 2011 deadline.

COF announces partnership with o-store.ca

The Canadian Orienteering Federation (COF) is pleased to announce a partnership with the o-store.ca. The o-store.ca is an on-line retailer of orienteering equipment and supplies. o-store.ca is headquarted in Ottawa, Ontario. The o-store will be selling COF branded merchandise. They currently are selling buffs, stickers and patches, all branded with the COF’s logo. We’re looking forward to selling other COF branded items in the future.

In addition to COF branded merchandise, the o-store sells orienteering gear such as SPORTident equipment, flags, punches, map bags stands, compasses, map holders for mountain bike, shoes, clothing. We encourage you to buy your orienteering gear at o-store.ca.

Some COF branded items will be sold at the o-store.ca as fundraisers for the COF and its programs, such as the high performance program and the Sass Peepre junior training camp. Please help support Canadian orienteering by purchasing these items.
