What race are you looking forward to for 2018?

NAOCs because I’ve never been to the Yukon before and WUOC. It was such an awesome experience last time and I’m excited to race in Finland again. Not looking forward to all the mosquitos though…

When did you start orienteering?

I was actually born with a compass in my hand

What is your best orienteering memory?

Watching Alex faceplant in the finish chute of the middle quali at JWOC 2015.

What is your favourite type of orienteering event and why?

Beer-O because somehow, I manage to spike every single control while running at top speed and having no idea which way I’m going.

What’s the best orienteering advice that you’ve received?

If you want to be a champion, you’ve got to use your brain.

Who is your orienteering idol or inspiration?

Nick Manfredi

What are some of your 2018 goals outside of orienteering?
Survive my fourth year and graduate university, have some good results with the Carleton ski team.
