What is your first orienteering memory?
Orienteering with my x-c ski coach outside of Kamloops.

What is your favourite orienteering story or experience?
Early on in my race for the WCOC long, I made a huge mistake, but I liked how afterwards, I felt confident pretty much the rest of the course, rather than getting totally discouraged.

Is there a particular map/area where you could never get sick of orienteering?
Not yet!

If you could fly anywhere in the world to orienteer, where would you go, and why?
Anywhere with beautiful mountains, not so much for the orienteering, but because I could enjoy the scenery.

Do you have any other achievements from 2012 that you’d like to share
Going to Quebec for the x-c ski nationals!

If you could get orienteering coaching from anyone in the world (dead or alive) who would it be, and why?
I would love to be coached by someone who orienteered when orienteering was just getting started so I could learn how things have changed and what techniques have been present throughout orienteering’s history.

What races are on your 2013 calendar?
The Sage Stomp is the only race I know I will do for sure.

Aside from orienteering, what other sports do you do on a regular basis?
X-C Skiing!

What is your favourite pre-race breakfast/snack?
I almost always have oatmeal with granola for breakfast.

Tell us something that we might not know about you….
I have to commute an hour to get to school, the ski hill, or Sage club activities – but at least I can train by running at home.
