Volunteer Opportunities: Team Managers for Canada at 2018 WOC and JWOC

Orienteering Canada’s High Performance Committee is seeking applicants for the volunteer positions of Team Managers at the 2018 World and Junior World Orienteering Championships. Applications are due by January 15, 2018. Details are available at these links:

Ski-Orienteering in 2018

World University Ski-Orienteering Championships

The World University Ski Orienteering Championships are in Tartu, Estonia February 21-25, 2018. If any Canadians who meet the eligibility requirements and are interested in competing, please send an email to charlotte AT by Nov 27 as a preliminery expression of interest.

Ski Orienteering World Cup and World Masters Championship

There is both a World Cup race and the World Masters Championships coming up March 5-10 in Craftsbury, Vermont.

If you are interested in competing in the World Masters, you can register directly for the event. The early bird registration fees are in effect until Dec 1st.
Entry to the World Cup events is done through Orienteering Canada. For athletes interested in competing in the World Cup, you can find the selection process detailed here (it is ok to apply at this time).
