A meet and WRE sanctioning request form
The A meet sanctioning request form is available here. Please return this form to the COF well in advance of the event.

Championship events in Canada
New Brunswick will be hosting the 2008 COCs. And the 2009 COCs will be in Manitoba. It is not yet confirmed, but it looks like Ottawa may host the COCs in 2010. BC will host the 2010 North American Championships. Bids to host national championships will be accepted at the AGM three years prior to the year of the event. Eg. we will accept bids for the 2011 COCs at the 2008 COF AGM.

The North American Championships were held in Hamilton, Canada in October 2006. There are held every two years and rotate between the US and Canada so the next North American Championships will be in Canada in 2010, 2014, etc. We will accept bids for the 2014 orienteering championship in 2011.

There is not currently a set rotation for the Eastern Canadian Championships. Hopefully the Eastern provincial orienteering associations can develop this.
