Q&A

Q: What is your best memory from the last orienteering season?
A: Running over the Rialto Bridge in Venice during MOV was a very memorable experience.

Q: If you had one tip for young orienteers what would it be?
A: I would tell them to find a great team they feel comfortable in because although orienteering is officially an individual sport, having a group of people that encourages and supports you is worth a lot.

Q: How do you normally prepare for an important race?
A: I think there are many different aspects to preparing for a race. Map and terrain preparation but also eating and drinking well, as well as getting enough sleep. Once I get to the race, I stick to my routine of getting ready and make sure I have a lot of time to properly warm up and get focused.

Q: Which event are you most excited for this season and why?
A: I’m very excited to be starting my season early in challenging terrain at the Portugal O-meeting and at the Maximus O-meeting in Spain alongside elite orienteers I look up to.
